Without intensive energy we can’t make the fertilisers that feed us, or the machinery to farm, or the transporation to get it to us, or the means to keep ourselves warm, or the refigeration to keep foods and medicines fresh, etc... I’m all in for reducing fossil fuels and using energy efficiently, but the picture he paints of RE is straight out of the FF apologists’ playbook.
