i have a pet theory the #metoo movement made #trump panic

he realized his history of #rape, #childsexualabuse, etc

so he ran for office to get ahead of it

contemporaneously, #socialmedia leapfrogged traditional #media (which has lots of problems but presents a decent face and hides indecency)

so now you don't need to be decent to get amplified

et voila:

a huge boost to #bigotry -> trump in office

thus:

#pedophilia is an effect of #plutocracy domination, and *also* a cause of it

if we weren't talking about powerful and rich people they would just be a sad group of criminally transgressive assholes who would be quickly sent to prison

but this dynamic of money and power fostering bad behavior:

it creates not some magic forcefield, it creates a desperate desire to escape justice

so we get a massive flood of money and effort on cheating, lying, and rallying all indecent and ignorant turds in the world to their defense

and that works!
