New knitting shawl WIP. All my recent projects are to be gifts and, although the others have been pretty intuitive, picking out this one has been trickier. I originally started with the 4ply on a more intricate cable shawl, but the dapples were too busy for it; then I started this pattern (Fern Field Wrap) with a soft fluffy yarn, but felt there wasn't enough definition; now though, with the second pattern and the original yarn held double with a mohair, I am finally liking it!
