2023-06-14: Time to write a new #introduction post as I seem to be acquiring quite a few more followers over the last couple of weeks!

Hi, I'm Stormgren, I use (she/her), and fell into this Fediverse thing and run my own instance here at ObsidianMoon because of unpleasantness elsewhere.

I'm a hacker that builds service provider networks for a living. I currently work with optical transport, so LASERS. I also do quite a bit of work with peering and interconnection with other carriers and providers. Sometimes that means I also do infosec work to compliment the network building. I've also been known to consult on matters networking from time to time.

I like DIYing my #HamRadio antennas and shack accessories. Also making things go BANG. Am owner of cats. Sometimes I try to figure out how to make shiny things, and help my wife run her jewelry business.
