@johntimaeus @ai6yr Then Rule Zero must be "Never be the boat owner." You know, never buy a boat. Ever. No matter how much you love to sail, people who have already bought a boat will bend over backwards to get you to sail with them. There's simply no need to own one.

Then, when they beach the damn thing, you can swim the surf into shore and simply walk away.
