Reminding everybody that #AltText is sexy, courteous, and if you're too worried about "doing it right", just keep practicing.

I never knew it was a thing until I joined the Federated universe.

Now, I read 98.5% of alt text that people post. it can be really helpful and give more depth and meaning to the image. It can also be super basic, but often I still will boost you because you did alt text.

You can always ask your followers how you did, you can ask followers to provide alt text for you, or you can request it via the Alt4Me hashtag. Trust me, there are many, many times that I don't post with an image because I don't have the spoons to write the text.
