@baldur cool! I didn't know Iceland had trees this large, so I'll admit I was slightly suspicious of the post but I'll take the ð as a seal of authenticity :D
Looking at a map now, do you mean the bit near the streets Kambahraun and Dynskógar? Because I went for a nightly walk in there, so I must have seen it in 2021 :o. We went horse riding the next day and that's when the guide told of another reforestation project. I probably wasn't paying attention to trees yet that night, if that was it
@luc There’s a reforestation area near there, yeah. But the one in the photos is on the other side of the river past the horticultural school and the health clinic.
