@DoomsdaysCW bunnies also love soybean plants
@emily_rugburn @DoomsdaysCW As does my cat. He was just eating my edamame tonight.
@EricIndiana @DoomsdaysCW just the plants, not the pods
@emily_rugburn @DoomsdaysCW Well, I've never asked my cat if he likes the plants. he loves soy products: tofu, tempeh. Plus his favorite treat is wheat grass. So who knows.
Cool! I grow both wheat and oats for my kitty, @EricIndiana. Not for myself. :) @emily_rugburn
@DoomsdaysCW @emily_rugburn They are all so different. My other cat is completely uninterested in wheat grass and soy. And my soy-loving cat doesn't like catnip.
My kitty only likes catnip plants, not the dried stuff, @EricIndiana . She hasn't touched my soy plants in the past thought.
@DoomsdaysCW @EricIndiana my cat isnt into catnip. he loves grass which i might try to grow in the spring. i he really really loves eating crunch things so dead ladybugs.
@emily_rugburn @DoomsdaysCW If you're talking about the psychotropic kind of grass, I heard that's poisonous to cats. But if you mean regular yard grass, maybe he likes that for the same digestive effects that dogs get out of it. My black cat, who doesn't like catnip (fresh or dry) also isn't that much of a meat eater, whereas my white cat is a hunter. She kills anything smaller than her. She also loves catnip. They also both go crazy for valerian, when I take it to help me sleep.
