Going through the old footage again, and have found lots of wonderful stuff, including one of the momma raccoons standing.

I don't know the magpies opinion on the children's, but they really didn't like one of the momma raccoons. If I recall correctly, there was a period of time in late May where I would regularly hear a magpie yelling at her. It stopped right around what I still believe was the magpie courtship time, which was approximately when she gave birth.
