My second pass at shading.

First, I went with a purple wash, but that kind of messed up my base coat.

Then tried to blend the light and dark purple, but made a mess of it.

When I came back to it, I started wildly mixing the two shades and different levels of water diluting.

After a few passes and layers, it shows promise.

It has spikes on elbows, shoulders and protruding along the outer lines of its limbs. Its tail has spikes all along the way. The spikes are darker, leaning towards blue-black coloration.

Head is shaped like a flame with armoured protrusions.

It has slightly longer clawed fingers and claw nails on its feet.

The shading is darker on the outsides to suggest armoured edges of the physique.

Smoldering red points in yellow eyes.

Basing is beige gravel and a scorched tuft of grass.
