As a teenager I used to hide myself within clothes fearing any social stigma that I could be confronted with due to being a nudist.
Naturism taught me that my life is mine, and I can do whatever I want with it. Yes, wanting to be socially accepted is totally normal, especially as a teenager where you want to have your group of friends and fulfill your sense of belonging, but it is worth to fit in today's toxic society? Sacrificing your identity and who you are? Definitely no!
This is why teens and young adults are important in naturism, so other young people like me can find their community and fulfill their sense of belonging without fearing being rejected by their naturist lifestyle, and be accepted for who they actually are, thus reducing the need of #materialism to fit in modern society.
