@mischiefist It seems a company https://office.eu/ decided to resell the opensource software @nextcloud @CollaboraOffice without giving proper credit to its developers. No mention that it's opensource. Looks to me like freeriding on the investments of others.

That's not a sustainable business model.

@rriemann @mischiefist @nextcloud @CollaboraOffice gosh darn it, it would be a great idea and it's spoiled by a simple lack of disclosure 😠 it also most likely wouldn't hurt them to simply say "we are a Nextcloud HUB based provider, but add all the maintenance and security you would need to do otherwise."

FAQ does say that office.eu is built on NextCloud Hub, and also mentions Collabora Office.
And while FAQ says that the thing is open source, I see no links to the source code anywhere.
Do they just mean "lol the projects that we took are open source lol" ?

I think that #openDesk has the most potential as #FOSS #Office365 alternative.
