The creepy weirdos don’t want things to be affordable, safe, or healthy.
They don’t have a growth mindset.
That’s where the grief and grievance come into play.
Unprocessed grief leads to grievance.
The creepy weirdos are anchored to fear-driven loss aversion.
If your goal was to manifest a world view that is expensive (price paid is not worth the value received), dangerous, and toxic, it wouldn’t be materially different than the timeline we are in.
A lot of people are afraid of confronting that bare naked truth.
What have we been tolerating in broad daylight that we knew was wrong?
What if not questioning felt safer, cheaper, and the lesser evil?
@paninid I think it is a sound thesis.
Mine is that they also lean more heavily on tribalism for identity and any attack on their tribe is a perceived attack on their identity.
Postulation: the lack of matured individual identity drives them by trust more than rationality.
When their tribe leadership does something that they might disagree with on the individual level, they just try to stay as close to the center of the tribe. Like a school of fish when predators are nearby. Acceptable loss.
