Docentes, invócovos! 🧙

@classquiz Am I right?
I understand that when teachers adopt new software, they don't have much time to work around problems. That's why they end up choosing proprietary applications that are easier to use. We know it's a trap. We know that free applications end up being better over time, but initially, this is the situation we find.
@pcgaldo @mixigodo I've translated your previous conversation and I don't exactly know what you're referring to with your question. If it's about the apps, that's true, ClassQuiz doesn't have any native apps. And regarding the selection of apps by teachers, i think it's just about missing knowledge and then the same reason why everyone still uses WhatsApp. "Worked in the past and it's good enough"
@classquiz @mixigodo I mentioned that, perhaps, for the moment, it may be less intuitive and visually appealing (not only for teachers, but also for students). I also mentioned that, as far as I know, there is no app for Android or iOS.
@classquiz @mixigodo Of course, the choice is conditioned by the habit of not trying new things, even though we know that this can be a trap that may hinder work in the future or even compromise students' privacy. These are issues that should be given more recognition, as should respect for users' freedoms as software users.
We were also talking about how public administrations should be supporting this type of development, rather than creating dependency or even promoting proprietary software.
