"Between 03:44 and 03:52 UTC on 19 February 2025, the upper stage of a #SpaceX #Falcon9 #rocket made an uncontrolled re-entry over Europe, producing a visible fireball and a persistent high-altitude plume of lithium vapour. ... This finding supports growing concerns that space traffic may pollute the upper atmosphere in ways not yet fully understood."
