@metin @linkstack Interested to be explained advantages of linktree or linkstack over having a /links page on my website 🤔
(As almost all linktree pages I land on are listing owner's personal website)
@villapirorum @linkstack It's been years since I moved from Linktree to Linkstack, but I remember Linktree having inserted all kinds of limits and restrictions, trying to lure you to switch to a paid subscription.
You can set up a Linkstack page as you like using its CMS, inserting different kinds of link entries, text headers, etc., and choose from a range of design templates. And it's totally free, although donations support the maintenance of the platform.
@metin @linkstack I'm not denying the advantages linkstack certainly has over linktree and I know how those services work. My question was not about that.
@villapirorum Ah, OK. Well, depending on your web development and design skills, you've got more control over a links page on your own site. Linkstack just offers you a free, ready-to-go links-oriented platform with templates and presets aimed at that purpose.
