Okay okay I'm willing to at least try out #agenticAI on some unimportant test projects.
But why is it impossible to sandbox this thing properly?
I do not want to know how many secrets already have been leaked to the LLM providers.
Had the 'pleasure' to watch a vibe coder do a live session on #agenticAI.
What shocked me wasn't (only) the overuse of anthropomorphic language, but mostly the eagerness to give away control.
This dude was talking like a salesman about how many different skills he could direct with just a single prompt, but in reality it's the belief that the technology knows best while still thinking he is the expert.
When it didn't work he even tried to 'debug' by asking the LLM what went wrong.

I read someone's post about their job where Agentic AI use is tracked for performance reviews, so they’re now dumping every question they can into the LLM just to pad their metrics and burn as many tokens as they can in the process.

I'm pretty sure we are going to see bunch of new HAM apps in coming years because AI development is so fast and easy. It's not a big thing to write a completely new FT8 app for example. I also predict that in few years FT8 is run mostly by automatic bots that pick the best stations.
