I was fiddling around in the #android gallery app and it dropped a huge popup on me telling me I can turn photos into stickers. I've gotten loads of these feature plugs from the #motorola stock software too, at random times in the first 3 months I've had it.
While I'm sure this gooses someone's KPIs, it hardly helps me accomplish my goals.
Why can't you spotlight new features in a changelog I can read at my leisure? Oh, wait, those can only say vague "bug and security fixes ^.^" these days.
I've finally rid of #meta apps from my #android phone. Now to sort out #google apps & find an alternative #Foss #os for my phone. Unfortunately these phone OS's are either too expensive to buy & use or unavailable for majority of phones out there. I'm already using #Foss app's to replace some of the Google app's.
I'm using @pixelfed instead of #instagram and obviously @Mastodon instead of #facebook. For emails, I've #thunderbird and for #maps I've #osmandapp. I use #fdroid instead of #playstore
Finalmente estoy probando #pachli Por el momento fluida, con bastantes "features" y opciones interesantes.

When I create a complex toot for a long time (necessarily switching to other apps to fetch links etc.) don't *destroy* my work. Keep the draft (at least if I explicitly save a draft, but not only), including alt text and image order. It's worse then enshittification. It was *born* shitty.
