The Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 'n' Goblins range of Capcom platformers are among my all-time favorite games.
Love the spooky atmosphere, the gorgeous graphics, the soundtracks and the variation in the levels.
The games are very tough to complete. I owned Ghouls 'n' Ghosts for the Sega Megadrive, and painfully discovered that you needed to complete the entire game twice to reach the ultimate end boss: the Devil himself. 😓

Although Atari is of course responsible for early arcade classics, and Capcom produced some graphically brilliant games (Street Fighter, Final Fight, Midnight Wanderers, …), Sega's immersive hydraulic cabinets in the 1980s, such as Space Harrier and Out Run, made them the arcade champion to me…

Hello people. I'm Ari, although I'm better known by my nick APz or apzpins in the social media. This is my pinball and retrogaming account.
I'm an IT guy by day, dedicating my free time to keep #pinball alive. My hobby has turned from owning a single game at home to an #arcade full of them over the years. Originally a very active tournament player, but in the past years I've been leaning more and more to the restoration and maintenance of the games. I especially love early solid state pins.
I'm a very #DIY -spirited person, often having to come up with creative ways to fix something that's been long obsolete. I do a lot of #3dprinting, tabletop #cnc and #laser'ing, among other things.
In addition to pinball machines, I'm into mechanical and video arcade games, #retrocomputing, owning plenty of machines like Commodores, Ataris, PCs and old servers.

I mostly post in English, but I'll reply in other languages where I can, I can do #Finnish and conversational #Spanish.

A Pokemon pinball machine was released. I'm reading reactionary comments about it and it's really telling how big the generational gap with the Pokemon audience is, when there are people who see the pinball machine's price and then rant that no one will be able to ever play something that expensive.
Damn, if only there was some kind of a business model, where someone bought expensive *arcade games*, put them under one roof and had them operate on per play cost.

I know this is last minute, but if anyone is going to be in central Vermont area on Saturday and wants to come over to an open house, hit me up (DMs open). I'm going to be turning on all of the arcade games (there's almost 50, focused heavily on Japanese rhythm games) and console games. Pizza hopefully available, but with nobody that delivers this is contingent on logistics day-of.

La TV 32 pouces premier prix n'a pas supporté les images fixes. Des pixels morts de partout, du burning...
