What could possibly go wrong? oh, wait a minute; these restrictions were put in place in the wake of the 2008 global financial crisis.
As the aphorism has it: before taking down a fence make sure you know why it was put up in the first place.
Its yet one more aspect of the (wilful) forgetting of history; both in the banking sector & in Govt.

Revolut-Geldautomaten? Während des MWCs hatte ich die Gelegenheit mit meinem Revolut-Konto mal die sehr modernen Automaten dort anzuschauen (in Spanien sind aber viele Automaten mordern). Geld abheben mit QR-Code, NFC oder EMV. Klappte alles problemlos. Gibt auch nette Features, wie das Besorgen neuer Karten – ohne Versandkosten. Ein paar kleine Patzer erlaubte sich die Bank aber. #revolut #neobank #banking
