I didn't think I could regularly ride a #bike any longer but an electric one changed my mind. Might be something you can still do, too, especially with the oil crisis. My primary advice if you go shopping? Don't cut corners, if spending on a feature would remove a reason not to ride, spend that money. Think of this as if you were buying a car. It will become your car because it's just so much more fun to get places and it won't really take that much longer for most trips. #ebike

Now that Strava has had their AI implementation ("Athlete Intelligence") in place for some time, I think it would make sense for them to use it for the app notifications as well. It's a bit annoying to get the "Wow! Great work logging an activity" after the nth time commuting to work.
Since Strava already knows what my daily commutes and my proper rides are like, you'd think it could use different wording in the notification depending on the kind of ride. After all, the "AI analysis" in the app does it.

A note on a broken front bike wheel (ENVE SES 4.5)
I was going to take the Pinarello out today, but I noticed one of the spokes on the front wheel had come off the hub...the picture shows the spoke resting on the broken part, but it can move freely... It looks like the part that keeping the spoke in place on the hub had somehow broken off, which is very weird because I hadn't ridden this bike for 4 months, and last time it was fine.
I submitted a warranty claim to ENVE which has lifetime warranty for wheelsets. They responded very quickly and asked for pictures of serial numbers. But man tubeless setup is sooooo annoying. It took so much effort to take the tire off because everything has to be airtight. With sealant splashing everywhere and slippery it hurt my fingers trying to push the tire rim off 🥹
I had to do this because the serial number is under the rim tape (again, required for tubeless setup). It was a pain to take off the rim tape too!
But glad that ENVE warranty is so good!

Plea for help: my dad has recently gotten a #parkinsons diagnosis, and bikes for exercise. Trying to find him a good, but easy to use stationary bike so he can try to follow the recommendations for biking that's supposed to help stave off symptoms for longer. He's not into fancy gadgets (despite doing CAD designer for 30+ years for a living!), so trying for quality bikes without giant touch screens, with RPM display and easy control. Boosts appreciated!
