I joined Mastodon in June ’23.
I’m married to a bi cis woman, and have 3 kids. It turns out that a significant challenge of transition as a parent is just finding a new name for your kids to call you.
I grew up in #Vermont, though moved to the #California #BayArea in 2002. Although I’ve lived in CA longer than VT now, #BernieSanders is still and will forever be my homeboy.
I love font design, hand lettering, uncommon spices, handmade instruments, unique writing systems, specialty tools, peculiar cocktails, em-dashes—all that hipster stuff, unironically.
I’m a manager at Apple, within the Music engineering group. Sometimes I write and record music of my own.

As supervisor of #LACounty he had the largest block of constituents South of San Francisco. And he got them behind the aqueduct with the addition of a lake

LA food is amazing. I was casually looking up what to eat near the Amtrak station and I found a spot that specializes in Utsunomiya style gyoza. That's the level of specificity and regionality I really love, and I wish I had more of that where I live (SF)
