Calligraphed in brown ink, in blackletter script, 'Studies have shown that it do be like that sometimes'. The first 'S' is big and ornamental with a dragon head, wings, and paws, in red, blue, and purple, with a tongue that extends to a celtic knot that fills the spaces in the loops of the S. The whole piece is framed in a thicker celtic knot mostly in shades of green, with blue and red in the corners, with the spaces between everything filled with a very shiny gold. Outside the knotwork, there's another border of swirling vines with leaves painted in gold, blue, and red.
