After spending hours to try to find out why the shared library in one of my projects cannot use its own subdirectory as include path with CMake, it took me only a few hours to get this and everything else working with Meson. I also converted a small project that depends on that library from CMake to Meson very quickly and got an installation routine automatically by just adding "install: true" to the definition of the executable.

The Meson configuration files are also a lot shorter and simpler than the previous CMake configuration files.
