My latest creation, in herself's yarn, of course. This is a discontinued wool, silk and mohair mix, so my efforts don't waste anything. I tried unusual (for me) ways of making this one, and wanted a deep brim, for good ear protection, as well as the ability to wear it well pulled down. It even fits.
Every now and then I get a glimpse of the pleasure folk who are able to crochet or knit properly articulate, when I knock out these hats. It's really quite pleasant.

New instance, new #introduction! I'm a longtime web geek currently embedded at #MathWorks. I used to have a career fork in #athletics writing (I started out on the #RunnersWorld website) and was published in #RunningTimes, #WorldAthletics, and numerous other outlets; I was credentialed media at two #Olympics and six #WorldChampionships.
