Ferdinand was a Bobtail, a very stylish Bobtail! And the first dog I can remember. My mother says that I always slept on the floor next to Ferdinand, and whenever someone came close, he would growl at them. Everyone needs a Ferdinand!

Versteckte oft seine leiden um einen zu gefallen. Sein ständiges lächeln verzückte jeden und heiterte einen auf. Natürlich war es auch nicht immer leicht, gerade als das erste Kind kam und man vielerlei jonglieren musste, hat er auch das hingenommen und als Familienhund treue Dienste geleistet.
