I hate it when people think OAuth is the only way to do things. Fine, it you are a web app running in a browser and using a third party service where your users don't want to let you see their credentials.
But, for a first party CLI app, perhaps making me copy & paste a four line URL, then log in on a different machine and copy back a long token string isn't the best option.

Im Laufe des letzten Jahres hat Congstar auf seiner Website angekündigt, dass kontobezogene Aktivitäten nur noch über die eigene App möglich sein werden. Dies ist nun Realität geworden.
Als ich zum ersten Mal von dieser Information erfahren habe, habe ich Congstar darüber informiert, dass einige ihrer Kunden den Google Play Store nicht nutzen, und sie gebeten, diese Personengruppe zu berücksichtigen, indem sie die App über F-Droid verfügbar machen.
Heute war der Tag, an dem ich die App gebraucht hätte. Natürlich ist eine Installation über F-Droid nicht möglich. Danke. Für. Nichts!

Meiner: Mit 14 hab ich irgendein »PC-Tuning«-/»Optimierer«-Tool runtergeladen. Bei der Installation hat’s mir mein komplettes RAID1 zerlegt. Kein Backup. Tat weh.
Seitdem gilt: Backup zuerst. Und ja – seitdem auch IT-Security. 🔒

Albo czy można ufać ludziom, którzy oszukują. Po prostu. Nie ważne, że sami "zostali oszukani wynikami pracy AI". Rozsądne i odpowiedzialne osoby po prostu nie idą na takie "skróty", na "łatwiznę", bo to grozi zawiedzeniem czyjegoś zaufania.
