There was a brief time at the turn of the century (damn, that makes me feel old) when The Lord of the Rings almost edged out original Star Wars trilogy as my favorite films of all time. It's still right up there, intertwined with them.
I'd read The Hobbit, but never actually read The Lord of the Rings until the films were in production. I found Fellowship... challenging... until they reached Moria.

I found this one in a vintage camera shop in Brno when we were travelling there a few years ago. I immediately saw the challenge in taking some holiday photos with it. It's a bit of a strange device, but once you get the hang of it, it's great fun. And sharp glass !
When we were in the Czech Republic, we noticed that there were lots of lakes and that the local population liked to relax on and around these bodies of water.
I think this match sign is by a lake by Brno, anyone Czech to confirm this ?
