I'm a frequent user of #emojipedia and noticed their article on a #twitter update to the #flag of #iran https://blog.emojipedia.org/x-expected-to-update-its-iranian-flag-emoji-design/ https://github.com/twitter/twemoji/pull/1440/changes which isn;t currently the internationally recognised one. I think politics should stay out of tech as much as possible, and agree with some of the criticisms (eg no flag changes until the regime has changed) to the same request for Google's emoji collection https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji/issues/531
