You folks remember when I asked about restoring access to a #Google account for a friend of mine?
Well, the good news is, he got his account back.
The bad news?
He lost his account thanks to #Claude #AI.
His "agent" happily and without intervention installed a package (I don't know the details of the package) on his work system, that took root access, and siphoned off his credentials.
I am happy for him that he got his account and all back, but #holy #flying #spaghetti #monster did I have to hold back the "I told you so"
I've never been a big fan of United Airlines, but I'm applauding them for this.
"United Airlines has a new rule on the books that has some travellers cheering: Listening to audio without headphones can now get passengers removed from a plane."

Haven't had my #XPlane #flightsim #Cirrus SF50 Vision jet up in a while. It was in for maintenance (in-op thingamabob).
Flew into Pangborn Memorial in Wenatchee, WA (KEAT) and after seeing the identifier, somehow I am hungry for dessert. Surely I can find some decent fresh Apple Pie around here.
RNAV approach was fun, a tricky five-turn affair thru a small valley of the Columbia River.
Parked next to another SF50 and yes, I do have wingtip envy.
Every now and then I have these vivid dreams in which I can fly. It's a great feeling of freedom, but there's always some kind of boundary in the sky, usually in the shape of overhead electrical cables, like those for trains, trams or general electricity transport cables.
I wonder if such a restriction is is a common phenomenon in flight-themed dreams?
Maybe one day I'll be able to fly beyond the boundary when I die. 🙂

Flying out of DCA to New Orleans right now on a Bombardier CRJ900A. They just told us it's so cold out that the plane's water pipes are frozen and they can't serve coffee or tea and there's no bathroom sink water.
That's a first. It's cold. ❄️✈️

Love ya all! But clockin' out of this timeline for a while to visit some buds cliff living in a nearby parallel universe with GREAT views of astral planes.
Yes, still listening to #searchengine (Hey small countries DON'T fall for that petro-dollar TRAP!).

Queen of the Skies, Bessie Coleman (January 26, 1892 – April 30, 1926), was the first female of African and Cherokee descent to become a pilot in the U.S. She made up her mind one day to try. She tried and she succeeded.
Happy Aviation Day! ✈️ 🎊✨️

I’m a #polymath who gets her kicks learning and doing new things.
I started in corporate finance, then went freelance as a #writer, #author of #tech #books, articles, and #video training material. Along the way, I learned to fly #helicopters and bought one. I launched my own helicopter charter business and a popular #YouTube channel of #flying videos. Now I’m mostly #retired, a #jewelry #artist and #boat #captain, #RVing and #boating with my pups when I’m away from home.
#introduction:
I am Rob, and I have been writing #software for so long, some of my first languages had names with all capital letters. Now I write in many languages, including #embeddedsystems and #fpga.
A couple of decades ago I took #flying lessons, and eventually became a #flightinstructor, so I could pass on my obsession. Sadly, I don't fly much right now.
I play #bassguitar for fun, mostly classic #rock, #metal, and #classicrock and have even played in a few local bands.
During the last 2 years I learned a lot on drones and decided to compile all the links for the open aspects off this hobby:
