I was playing Knights and Merchants - The shattered Kingdom again and noticed that the levels can be divided up into three categories: There are the pure combat levels that each need different approaches regarding troop deployment for winning.

The other two categories are the levels where you are supposed to build settlements and build troops before destroying your enemies. But lots of times, you have some troops ready to attack the enemy right at the start so that you only need a bare minimum settlement to win quickly. But only in a few levels like level 2, you are strong enough right at the beginning to combat and destroy the enemy. In other levels, you either have to wait or you can sneak into the enemy settlements.
