Tengo muy pocas esperanzas en el hipotético cliente nativo de #GOG Galaxy. Y si es otro cliente / lanzador más privativo (ejem, Steam) va ser mayor la desilusión.
Si fuese privativo pero sirve, de alguna manera, para poder por fin subir la partida a la nube, tener la superposición o la adaptación del Steam Runtime no estaría nada mal. Especialmente si beneficia a proyectos como Heroic, Comet o gogdl.
Y si pasa lo inesperado (ser software libre) sería bienvenido.
Me parece tan cutre que #GOG se enfoque en juegos clásicos y "recuperarlos". Pero peor me parece que busque cuotas fijas mensuales de sus propios clientes para, supuestamente, eso.
Mira: dejarse de chorradas. ¿Al propio sector que trata los #videojuegos como tornillos debo pagarles una cuota al mes para migajas? NO.
Quien preserva de verdad es la comunidad: la gente como tú o yo. Compartiendo (y rompiendo DRM) y arreglando (e incluso mejorando) videojuegos que están muertos para sus editores.

Este logro del #StreetsOfRage4 me ha costado una chispa. Llevar el pollo de oro sin golpear a alguien o tirarlo en un arrebato de rabia (je je) me resultó jodido.
Y, bueno, tengo el logro por leer una guía de ello. A mí no se me hubiese ocurrido llevar el pollo por la fase al almacén de la galería de arte.
Y recordemos: jugando a la versión nativa (bien hecha) y en Wayland. Y con todas las características de Galaxy. Menos el subir la partida a la nube. Puto #GOG.
Todos sabemos que Valve está haciendo maravillas mejorando la compatibilidad de muchos juegos en Linux.
Pero se habla poco de que #HeroicLauncher también ayuda a integrar otras tiendas online de juegos como #GOG o #EpicGames en Linux, y lo hacen por la patilla.
