Meine #Krankenkasse (#TK, #Techniker) weigert sich ja, #GrapheneOS für die Nutzung der eigenen Apps anzuerkennen.
Ich habe mir das nun lange genug angeschaut und denen mal eine längere Email geschickt.

Wie sieht das bei anderen Nutzern von GrapheneOS aus? Gibt es da sonst noch jemanden, der ebenfalls solche Probleme hat? Und wenn ja: wie hast DU reagiert?

Ich finde, wir sollten den Krankenkassen mal ein wenig Dampf machen.

I had a problem with #GrapheneOS without #GooglePlayServices and #Signal: the app was draining the battery like crazy. I’d always gotten it through #Aurora. Out of desperation, I decided to install it via #Obtanium from #GitHub. I have no idea why, but battery usage has been significantly lower ever since.

Mir fehlte noch eine App, mit der ich auf mein #grapheneos meine Termine synchronisieren kann. Nutze den Kalender von #nextcloud.

Mit Fossify Kalender hat es auf anhieb wunderbar funktioniert

Praktisch ist auch die untere flache Leiste, wenn man mehrere Kalender nutzt

L'application d'Ebanking #UBS me prévient qu'elle ne sera bientôt plus compatible avec #GrapheneOS.

A few mintues after osting this, I sat and watched the whole vid. I was tired of this guy yapping about #Protonmail (a sponsor) I don't trust Protonmail and really don't want to hear a out it!

anyone else on #grapheneos find it stops recognising 3rd party keyboards all the time? Like, it'll stick for a few hours, then break, and I go into settings, toggle the 3rd party keyboard off and back on, and then it's OK for another few hours.

The communication of #GrapheneOS is so terrible. A narrow-minded person answering in an agressive manner. Blocking posts, deleting own posts. Best for the project to unplug the persons access to the fediverse account!

This is only a conclusion because of the communication. It's not about the technical part.

e: Aand I am blocked from them. The account owner should be Daniel Micay, the founder of GrapheneOS. He has a history of that behaviour and wanted to step down in 2023. Still acting as Director.

I am sad because I still think it's an important project. They are killing it with that communication. And why do they have this time to rant/fight with a random internet stranger? "There is somebody wrong in the internet - erm about GrapheneOS"

Why is buying a #google pixel phone with #grapheneos pretty much the only option for avoiding the looming September Google #android privacy and development issues?

Seems to be that's rewarding a monster for their foul behaviour.

Seit ich #GrapheneOS installiert habe, merke ich, dass viele Apps nach und nach fit gemacht werden, ohne Google Play Services zu funktionieren und dass auch die Push-Mitteilungen mittels anderer Werkzeuge implementiert werden.
Banken-Apps funktionieren plötzlich ohne Fehlermeldungen, die Apps des Bundes werden nach und nach entsprechend angepasst. In den FAQs wird teilweise explizit auf GrapheneOS Bezug genommen.

Es scheint angekommen zu sein, dass man sich von #BigTech befreien will.

My screen defaults to a bit too dark in a dark environment.
In settings it says that the phone should learn my setting when I change the slider, but I still always have to slide it up a bit.

I think 21-23% is the lowest I ever want to go.

Anything I can do or is Android just stupid?

Les devs de GrapheneOS ont toujours été durs avec /e/OS, reprochant à Gaël de mentir sur la sécurité de /e/.
D'ailleurs leurs arguments sont plutot convaincants. Soit c'est secure soit ca ne l'est pas. Il semble que non pour /e/OS.
Si je devais choisir, mon choix pench…

The next step on the #Degoogle journey begins: a new phone, with a #GrapheneOS install! The ultimate irony being, of course, that Graphene only runs on Google Pixel phones, so I've given the megacorp in the sky money directly for a 9a, rather than slowly sell my data for it.

I've dragged the same apps around my various Androids for fifteen years now, so this is going to take a while to get set up...

The #mastodon app in fdroid is buggy in #grapheneos for me. It let's me scroll several posts but then repeats the same posts. Very odd. Only solution is to quit the app and start over.

What is everyone's favorite app to use for Mastodon in GrapheneOS?

Probé la GSI de #GrapheneOS que mencioné antes, todo es tan AOSP puro? Si es así están un poco anticuadas las apps en cuanto a diseño, no? O es la magia del anonimato? xD

Le recenti notizie sulla prossima chiusura dell'ecosistema Android, mi fanno seriamente valutare l'idea di passare a #GrapheneOS. L'unico problema è che perderei la Google camera (con tutte le sue funzioni) e non so cosa succederebbe alle funzionalità che utilizzo di più, ad esempio Google wallet per i pagamenti. La degooglizzazione mi attrae ma non vorrei smenarci troppo. Qualcuno ha già fatto il salto su #graphene e mi sa dire realisticamente cosa implica? Ci sono rischi di briccaggio?
