For the record, "#Democrat #politicians defend #SecondAmendment #GunRights from #Republican politicians" has been on my #political bingo-card since the #Obama admin, when I worked with #Gun-toting Democrat candidates and watched Obama expand gun rights as #Republicans pushed to disarm various groups.
This is not new, it's just way more obvious, which is an opportunity for inroads I have been pushing for my entire adult life.

The #2A / #2ndamendment crowd says they support #guns because if the #US government overstepped and trampled on #civilrights of #Americans, the #righttoBEARARMS is a necessary responsibility.
