Premise: a deadly virus that only affects billionaires...
It took me almost a year, but according to the scale this morning, I’ve finally managed to hit my goal weight. In the past 11 months, I’ve managed to run over 780 miles (I only started running 7 months ago), and lost over 80 lbs. For the first time in over 20 years, I am in the healthy weight range. I’ve had to buy new clothes, and now wear the same size pants I wore in high school.
It’s been quite the journey. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and I’m probably now in the best shape I’ve ever been in my whole life.

The Guardian: Colon cancer now leading cause of cancer deaths under 50 in US
"...Experts aren’t yet sure why colorectal cancer has risen in younger people, but Siegel said it’s an example of the “birth cohort effect”. That people born after the 1950s face heightened risk “tells us that there was some exposure, some risk factor that was introduced in the middle of the 20th century that’s increasing our risk of this disease”, Siegel said, “and it’s increasing the risk more and more with every subsequent generation.”..."
