Hier, enfin du soleil et du ciel bleu, donc grosse balade autour du cirque de Navacelles et des gorges de la Vis jusqu’à Vissec. Pour la petite histoire, Vissec tient son nom du fait que d'ordinaire la rivière traverse le village de façon souterraine, mais c’était sans compter avec les abondantes pluies récentes 😬
Rencontre avec un troupeau de brebis et un inévitable patou que j'ai pu amadouer pour qu'un cycliste apeuré puisse passer 😅

Weak cold trough brought Beartooth Front 5cm ❄️, -6C this morn. Only about that much too below 2400m in Rock Crk. Cyn., had to just ski paved campground roads. Gravel road would be ruinous. At least got slow 90 min. ski in nice powder. Couldn't go fast down w that little base over pavement. After that hiked 4K up Hellroaring Rd., to 2500m. -8C in the mosh pit there 1m base had to return. Very turbulent here next 7 days, extreme heat SW developing 😒. #climatecrisis #skiing #hiking #dogs #montana

Weak cold trough brought Beartooth Front 5cm ❄️, -6C this morn. Only about that much too below 2400m in Rock Crk. Cyn., had to just ski paved campground roads. Gravel road would be ruinous. At least got slow 90 min. ski in nice powder. Couldn't go fast down w that little base over pavement. After that hiked 4K up Hellroaring Rd., to 2500m. -8C in the mosh pit there 1m base had to return. Hiking with son 2, 3 and 4 yesterday. We hiked a local route about an hour away from home. The route went through a varied landscape and we passed by forests, meadows, lakes, old (medieval) quarries and much more.
