Is 32bit float a hype or the way to go?

I’m a #fingerstyle #diy #folkmusic songwriter and also sometimes more #guitarsoli #americanprimitive artist who does a fair amount of #homerecording sometimes with light #psychfolk touches, bits of #wahguitar and other #guitarpedals etc, and enjoys #layers and #ambient #soundscape also in general though a lot of my stuff is pretty folky.
