This is the scale for the declination position encoder for our 50cm telescope in Göttingen. At the bottom you see a part that has darkened significantly and we can't get a good signal there. So we're now putting a new one in... #IAG #UniGöttingen

We've also started working on the MOSES spectrograph for #MONET. This is still made from styrofoam and 3D printed parts, but at least we now get a better idea of actual sizes. #IAG #UniGöttingen

At the #IAG we're building the structure for the ELT first light instrument MICADO. The work has now started with the ELT Nasmyth Simulator, i.e. a simple steel structure that simulates the (much bigger) instrument platform at the 39m ELT platform. #UniGöttingen
