I would like to connect with other developers — if you do Swift, much better since I can talk at least halfway intelligently about that, but I’ve done development in a bunch of other languages including Python, Kotlin, Java, PHP, Perl, Pascal, xBase (if you really want to dig deep …).
But I’m looking for people who post about their current development journey — what you are working on, what issues you’re running into, what interests you etc. Doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner, expert, or somewhere in-between, I’m just interested in people who post and who want to have a conversation …

I'm a developer/coder. I used to be very much into mobile development (both #iOS and #Android) using #Swift and #Kotlin. Now my main area of interest is digital creativity using #AI to generate art, text, and music.
I don't post a lot generally, but do daily postings of interesting papers from the cs.CV category on arXiv.org. So first thing in the morning, there will be a barrage of posts from me and then probably nothing much for the rest of the day 🙂
I also post a daily set of images based on my #StableDiffusion prompt of the day — I generate a bunch of images through the day based on a single prompt, pick the four best images (according to me) and post them the next day.
Other than that, I do boost a lot — #MachineLearning and #DeepLearning, #Writing, #AIArt, #Photographs, #Humour are probably the main topics of interest for me. But if I find anything interesting in the areas of #Books, #TV, #Movies, I'd boost those too 🙂

Why are people on #iOS / #macOS (including myself!) so stuck on Ivory as their fedi client by the way? It's so broken.
Just Ivory on macOS alone:
- Constantly gets confused about its navigation state
- Has really borked video playback
- Its swipe gesture handler is so custom it breaks all the time and has no support for my other mouse
- No support for back buttons on a mouse
- Doing things like CMD + F takes fckn ages to actually have an effect on the UI

I could not expect anything else 🤷♂️ Interesting if it would be "just" the #iPadOS multitasking, or something more custom.
To be honest I wouldn't mind full split-view multitasking comeback along with #iOS 27 on #iPhoneFold and #iPads as well...
Also maybe it's time to abandon „#iPadOS" name as it's quite meaningless anyway and always has been?
