Normally I have my iPhone on silent, so only calls and messages of my direct family go make a sound.
This evening I have to be the emergency contact for a long night hike, so I have turned off the silent so any calls or messages alert me.
And that also enables sounds from all applications with popups, and that is all very noisy! How does a person without the default silent deal with this?
