Feel free to open Issues and make pull requests there.
The actual development currently happens at my local forgejo instance at https://git.k-fortytwo.de/christofsteel/syng with codeberg and GitHub as mirrors for issues and pull requests.

Currently GitHub is used as a way to distribute the releases and building of the docker images, but I plan to migrate away from that some time in the future.

The Windows builds of Syng for version 2.3.0 did not work. This Error ist now fixed, the current builds in the GitHub release Page should work.

This release was a done in a hurry, because of a new yt-dlp version. Besides that, there is a new feature:
You can tag your song, weather you want to sing alone or in a group.

Escucho #rock, #punk, #metal, #reggae, #ska... Fan de #NOFX, #Sublime, #TheStrokes, #CatupecuMachu, #Flema, #Rancid, #SoaD, #Sumo... Tmb me gusta la cumbia, el pop, algunos reguetones viejos (aunq en su momento los odiaba), la música clásica, el chiptune, #psytrance...

Otros juegos que me gustan son #SvenCoop, #Luanti, #HalfLife #Synergy, #CounterStrike, #AoE, #GMod, #Portal, #L4D... Y el #StreetComplete #OSM. #JuegosDeMesa tmb.

Me gusta #acampar, andar en #bici y el #cicloturismo. También los michis y los cementerios. Estudié #chino #mandarín 2 años.

Uso principalmente (y milito) apps y redes libres #FLOSS y celus usados hace más de 10 años. Antes usaba bastante #Diaspora (en joindiaspora con otro alias y en diaspora.com.ar #DiasporaArgentina hasta que cerró).

As announced, there is a new version for a new yt-dlp, nothing more has (really) changed. Only other notable change is, that the project migrated from `poetry` to `uv`, but that should not concern the end user 😅

So, there has been little public development on the Syng front, but things moved in the background.

Starting soon™️, there will be a Windows installer in addition to the executable. At the same time, we will change handeling updates to the bundeled yt-dlp. Up until now, we updated yt-dlp when there was a new version of Syng. Now, we will release a new version as soon as there is a new version of yt-dlp, even if it only updates the dependencies.

TIL: „Alane“ von Wes aus dem Jahr 1996 eignet sich tatsächlich wunderbar als #Karaoke -Song. Der Text ist zwar auf Dualisch (sprechen nur 80.000 Menschen in Kamerun), lässt sich aber leicht ablesen, die Melodie kennt ja sowieso jeder.
