*frogged*
I dropped a stitch when attaching yarn for a forethought heel. Toe down sock, stitch on the toe-side of the hole so the stitches are 'upside down'. I cannot get my brain around how to pick it up properly. Anyone with a (link to a) good explanation? I really don't want to unravel the whole foot.
Edit: it’s technically picked up in the pic, but it doesn’t look right in the red/pink colorwork (gaping stitches). I’m looking for the correct way to fix.

Because I mentioned it earlier and because it's Friday and the world could use some sassy warmth, here's the Calcifer I knit a few years ago for a friend. He's made from 100% angora (rabbit, not goat) yarn. I couldn't find the right colors so I got skeins of white and dyed them with Jacquard acid dyes, just like I did today. He's also stuffed with combed wool instead plastic (poly-fill). He's also squishy and soft and just a general delight. #knitting #FiberArts

Gales and lashing rain today but I’m finally making progress with my knitting project. I bought the wool and pattern for it while on holiday last summer! 😳 I have completed the first section of the repeating pattern, which comprises 56 rows. I recently acquired some extra long needles and am liking them very much #knitting #fairisle #Shetland

我實在搞不清楚捲加針和滑動記號扣的關係，動用Gemini幫我，仍然半信半疑。打到如圖的進度時，已經太過混亂，決定全部拆掉重打。這是因為在手腕束口結束時，我忘記要換針，結果退回換針重打又弄得亂七八糟，後續要打掌心部分就一直很難數打到第幾行，乾脆全部重來。
我給Gemini看這張照片，問它是否覺得束口太緊，它建議從起針40針改成44針，讓束口處寬鬆一些。我決定採納它的建議。
目前打算手背不打雙桂花針，一方面是覺得困難（？），另一方面我也比較喜歡平織那種視覺上更服貼的效果。這雙手套打好，最快也是年底入冬才會戴（我想要在很冷的時候戴著它打電腦來保暖），實在是很不急……

Knitters and crocheters and anybody else this applies to:
When you have to frog your work or rip it out because of a mistake that can’t be ignored, how do you avoid frustration?
Personally, I don’t get frustrated at all, I just pretend that all the frogging is part of the pattern. Like the pattern is asking me to rip out a few hundred stiches and it’s all part of the plan.

I’d love to hear how people deal with this. I know many people get very frustrated so I’m not sure if I’m the weirdo here or not 😅
