Auf einem Wanderweg: Im Hintergrund ein noch eingeschneiter Hang, bewaldet mit Lärchen und Tannen.Bildmitte ein typisches Walliser Holzchalet mit roten Fensterläden und Steinplattendach, direkt daneben eine Kapelle mit dem Kreuz gut sichtbar. Man sieht noch einen Holzzaun, der direkt am Wegesrand steht - das Foto ist so aufgenommen, dass es wirkt, als blicke man direkt vom Wanderweg in die Szenerie.

Blick über einen alten Walliser Weiler - über die Steinplattendächer hinweg, direkt auf das Panorama mit Bietschhorn. Das Bietschhorn ist ein markanter Berg; sehr typisch ist seine pyramidenförmige Ausprägung. In der Bildmitte ist eine Kapelle zu sehen und die ganze Szene präsentiert sich im letzten Sonnenlicht; die Häuser sind bereits im Dunkel des Schattens untergetaucht.

Blick auf das Bietschorn im Abendlicht. Der Blick führt vom unteren Bildrand einer Strasse bergab, entlang in Richtung des Bietschhornpanoramas. Auf der rechten Bildseite ist ein Bergrücken - darauf steht ein Kreuz aus Holz im Schatten und überragt die Szenerie bewachend. Die Bergkette um das Bietschorn ist noch ziemlich eingeschneit und auch am Strässchen, von wo aus das Bild gemacht wurde, hat es letzte Schneereste.

Blick auf das Weisshorn mit Brunegghorn im abendlichen blau-rosa Farbton. Am Himmel hat es kleine Wölkchen, die ebenfalls blau-grau-rosa gefärbt sind. Die Berge sind eingeschneit und verschwinden gegend den Talgrund hin im Dunklen Schwarz.
