dear #emacs #lazyweb, i love eww but it reloads the page when i navigate to an anchor -- e.g., when I click the "Skip to content" button at the top of the page. This means I basically load most pages twice.
is there a way to fix this?

Whenever I search it’s either vendor locked subscription SaaS or some basic but usable tool that costs $800 for a license, Im happy to pay non-enterprise level amount for a good tool.
(I know there’s a having cake and eating it too argument here)

If I'm using the Lato font on my web page and I use a macron the letter becomes big and ugly because Lato does not contain macrons (specifically, LATIN SMALL LETTER A WITH MACRON) U+0101

It turns out I'm one of only a few people who are using the #znc #irc bouncer at work. As a result I'm looking for hosted bouncers. So far I've found #irccloud and #irctoday. Are there any other hosted options I should look at? I'm tempted by irccloud if the #slack integration works because like it or not its where the corporate stuff happens.

Do I (or you!) know someone who has experience (or ability) working with Pagefind https://pagefind.app to implement search for an @11ty based website who also happens to be available for hire?

with different disasters - both natural and otherwise - on the rise, I am looking for recommendations on a radio receiver that would be well suited (also) for in such occasions.

What I imagine - but if you thought it through better, do let me know - one would need:
- AM, FM, DAB (I imagine internet radio is most fragile)
- battery - either easy replaceable or rechargeable
- also work without batteries
- good quality and sturdy
- portable
- world coverage would be cool

#lazyweb is there a way to sync Mac machines? Say, if I want to mirror my MacBook Pro onto a desktop Mac Studio, can it be done?

The idea: no matter which machine I open up, it should have the exact same state (apps/data/etc.).
