Only 17% of Austrian MPs are still on X.
Compare that to Sweden, 66%, the Netherlands, 63%, and the EU, 58%, that gap is striking.
Finland is often cited as a leader in digital literacy and counter-disinformation. It makes me curious how Finnish politicians assess X today, as a neutral platform, or as an active disinformation risk.
Which European country will be the first to seriously lead by example and walk away from this disinformation machine?

Thanks to @zollak, we updated the status of ten MEPs! Now, we have 421 more politicians to persuade to leave X, which is a decrease from 60% to 59%.
Can we get that number below 50% before spring?

Let's work together in 2026 to finally wake up our representatives.
P. S. This project is done in my spare time. A new petition will only open if larger groups like @campact or the #SaveSocial movement join us.
One thing that was planned last year but not implemented was a way to facilitate contact with EU representatives. We can find inspiration here https://fightchatcontrol.eu

We now have a new homepage! It took some time to create the custom layout (thanks to aivuk on GitHub!), but the result is minimalist.
A few minor adjustments are still necessary, but we're ready to add new countries!
