Users who currently have 10 alts, have migrated a half dozen times or more leaving a wake of personal info in posts they no longer have control of, suggesting to new #Mastodon users that they can #migrate all their posts to other instances which is entirely false is a great example of how the #fediverse also has some of the least competent users in #SocialMedia.
But go on, tell new users how using .social is bad you #tech & #infosec fail superstars.

3. Use #hashtags! There is no algorithm selecting "top posts" for you; instead, trends are built on hashtags. Also, Likes and Boosts work different:

to all people running #Mastodon on #FreeBSD. After my Jail Update from 14.3 to 15 my mastodon instance stopped working with some strange ssl cert verification error in sidekick. I couldnt solve it so i rolled back the snapshot. Any one who saw similar stuff and could solve it? @stefano @Larvitz maybe?

Right to respond to online defamation :
On 5/Feb/26, mastodon.social disabled the local feed, I posted some content with hashtags to catch up with the stream (see left toot: clearly relating to programming/sw design with an illustration).
The toots on the right, from a man I have never spoken to, called Tanguy Herrmann, are still currently online and have been for a week now.
And this is what he insinuates about my account: "AI cosplaying as human"?
