Come dissi: basta, mi sono proprio scocciata, mo mi serve un client Misskey che funziona sui nintendi, e sui javafonini, e pure attraverso i terminali, per non dire poi di peggio (e non lo faccio solo perché non mi viene in mente altro, non perché io abbia paura di dare in giro cattive idee)... quindi, ho iniziato a lavorarci, e chissà che magari non lo finisco davvero!!! 💖
È un semplice client web con stile brutalista, che gira sul serverino o sul computerino, interagisce dietro le quinte con la API di Misskey (o meglio, con la libreria TypeScript ufficiale che fa da interfaccia per la API), e restituisce giustamente le pagine HTML quelle belle, vecchio stile, con CSS che scarseggia e JavaScript completamente assente... Stesso stack web usato per Aggregodo, sperando di non pentirmene (ma credo di no; mi sono invece pentita di aver fatto Pignio con Python...). 👍

Unfortunately, the administrator at social.tchncs.de is acting like a coward.
Pointing out a confirmed scammer is not racism, sexism, or any kind of discrimination.
What is happening in Gaza is horrific. I have never doubted this. What Israel has done to these innocent people is a crime against humanity.
But a scam that hides itself as support is also wrong. That, too, is an injustice.
I need a platform that does not give weight to false reports. Especially when there is clear evidence — photos and videos — that a scam exists, it should be acknowledged and addressed.
If Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter can recognize such scams with proof, surely the Fediverse can do the same.

Blocking whole Fediverse sites is often a big mistake. Here's why:
Admin1 doesn’t like User2. Instead of just blocking User2, Admin1 tells Admin3 to remove User2 from their site. But Admin3 says, “User2 didn’t do anything wrong.”
Now the two admins argue. They don’t agree. So one or both of them block each other’s entire site.
Here’s the problem:
Admin1’s site has 5,000 people.
Admin3’s site has 5,000 people too.
Now, 10,000 people can’t talk to each other, just because one admin didn’t like one user.
And the worst part?
User2 might leave the Fediverse or stop using their account. But the block stays forever, and the 10,000 people stay cut off — for no good reason.
Site-wide blocks should only happen in serious cases, like child abuse or illegal content — not because of petty fights or personal drama.
Yet on the Fediverse, so many people go nuclear so easily.

The Fediverse has a scammer problem.
Even if you have proof — photos, videos, whatever — that someone is a scammer, your post can still disappear just for calling them out.
Right now, I could easily rejoin the Fediverse, post a heartfelt message claiming I need help, and no one could challenge me on my bullshit — while I rake in kickbacks as easy money.

My #fedivision (#vision inspired by the #fediverse): Within the next 20 years people will begin to transfer the structure of the fediverse and how it is managed to the real world.
Citizens will be able to choose the country they wanna live in just the way they today choose the software (#friendica #mastodon #misskey ...), the server and the app they use to socially interact with each other. If they don't like how their server (formerly known as country) is governed they can pack their things and move to another one with close to zero transaction cost.
Today users can voluntarily give money to admins to pay communication infrastructure like #servers and cost's for #administration & #moderation. Today we all are obliged to pay #taxes (except for clever antisocial actor's) in our countries. In the future we can decide where (if at all) our money goes to. There will be admins and servers that have special real world agendas (green energy, strengthening local communities, raising awareness for minorities, air taxis ...) And there might even be servers that pay their users for being there. This money will be demanded from #companies or other non-social actor's like #billionaire's for not de-federating them. They will pay the fee's as it will be their only way to socially interact with or show commercials to others.
In 20 years admins and moderators will be what #politicians and #bureaucrats are today. Servers are what countries are today. Just like #Wikipedia is today what the Encyclopædia Britannica was 20 years ago.

I had the germ of an idea to possibly contemplate the merest hint of a vague suggestion of a nascent thought to potentially cogitate the implausible eventuality of looking at #Misskey. From https://fedidb.org/software/misskey i found a non-Japan non-USA server/instance purporting to be in UK, https://fedidb.org/network/instance/quietplace.xyz. To my huge shock, almost disbelief, & certainly disgust, i next found their own instance info https://about.quietplace.xyz/rules.html, in which:
the top half appears to be in Russian! 😲 🤯
the bottom half is English, but contains:

Per farlo basta andare in: impostazioni -> sicurezza -> chiave di sicurezza e accesso -> registrare la chiave di sicurezza. A questo punto basta inserire le credenziali per permettere la creazione e avere un software compatibile, come #KeePass , per la registrazione.

To do it go in: settings -> security -> access and security keys -> register a security key. The final step is to enter own credentials and register the key with a compatible software, such as KeePass.
