Hi I’m Nika, you can also call me Kay.
I’m an engineer and my hobbies include gaming, cooking and baking, knitting and crocheting, and I’m tech savvy.

Currently I play the newest Pokemon game and my all time favourite cozy game is Stardew Valley. I also like Fallout, Witcher, Portal, Hades, Splatoon and Zelda.

I try to cook more plant based and this year I exclusively baked vegan.

I’m also agender and very queer.

The ruling of the European Court of Justice yesterday is amazing news to non-binary people IMHO : The ruling clarifies that Member States must issue document matching the presented gender of citizens - it does at no place limit the definition of gender to male or female. Considering how barely any member state recognizes non-binary gender, this will be an amazing foundation to sue countries to provide them.

I am a late-fifties white, fat #disabled #nonbinary person. I live with my partner D & his partner, E, who also hang round on fedi. Sadly, we currently have no pets, but we help out our neighbours & friends with dog walking and pet sitting.

I have a bunch of chronic illnesses & conditions that limit my energy, so posting & response times can be slow and sporadic, but I do my best. I will CW when appropriate and provide image descriptions. I don't boost images without descriptions.

I love the #fediverse; however, I am aware of the problems this place has, especially for #BIPOC . I try to use it critically & thoughtfully and do my best not to be part of the problem. I do appreciate being called out/in if I fuck up, but I recognise that responsibility is mine to do better.

I am trying to unlearn a whole bunch of #racist #colonialist crap amongst other things, so I can be a halfway decent human. BTW Fuck whiteness, white supremacist, nationalist bollocks in any form or shape. I won't argue with you, I'll block & report you.

#Geschlechtsidentität #nonbinary Irgendwie finde ich es doof, dass bei einer Änderung des Geschlechtseintrags nach #SBGG die *Geburtsurkunde* geändert würde. Denn ob es mir passt oder nicht bin ich als weiblicher Mensch auf diese Erde gekommen und habe >40 Jahre so gelebt. Das Ändern in der Geburtsurkunde kommt für mich einer Auslöschung gleich & ist immer noch der (einzige!) Grund, zu zögern.
