It looks like my OpenVPN client config is interfering with HTTPS on some sites (mine) and I'm not sure how to resolve it: disable VPN -> works; enable VPN -> EOF during handshake.
I've tried limiting to specific SSH algs on the Apache2 side, but so far I haven't been able to point to a specific variant. I may try a manual binary search of the algo list at this point.
Sound familiar? Any ideas? Weeks of sporadic searching has not yielded an obvious fix.

#KDE #Plasma on #postmarketOS turned my Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro tablet into a laptop replacement. I've been using this for #OpenRGB development when out and about due to its smaller size and way better battery life and I've been very happy with it. The only real downside is performance, but with #OpenVPN and a decent connection I can use #waypipe to remotely use one of my Arch desktops for the more demanding things like compiling.

It seems to be impossible to connect to @mullvadnet via the #SNCF train #wifi, despite the SNCF website explicitly saying #VPN is allowed.
Does anyone have similar experiences or solutions? I tried various country servers, #Wireguard and #OpenVPN, IPv4 and IPv6.
@0x00string Tailscale is built on Wireguard so it should process traffic faster than OpenVPN. The inability to set Tailscale as "Always On" on iOS spoiled it for me, but you can do that with OpenVPN and the Wireguard app (and AFAIK you can't use the Wireguard app with a Tailscale deployment).
It'll definitely seem sketchy to have their software automatically generate, manage, and ship your keys. Effectively, it's Wireguard with a great user experience. They promise that private keys never leave devices and your e2e encrypted traffic never touches their servers.
You can read about its past CVEs. Despite their promises, I don't like the wording on the impact of CVE-2022-41924. I wonder what logs they ship that enables them to guarantee it was never seen in the wild.
Anyone else have an #Eero #MeshNetwork at home who has set up some sort of #OpenVPN or other #VPN where all of their home network traffic goes through a VPN of some sort? I might be ready to set something like this up.
