J’aimerais créer un compte sur une instance #PeerTube pour y publier mes contenus autour d’un sujet qui me tient à cœur : la souveraineté numérique.
J’ai déjà fait plusieurs demandes d’inscription, mais les validations peuvent parfois prendre jusqu’à 13 jours… 😅

#OBS now supports WebRTC simulcast support.
I understand it'd be a HUGE undertaking, but what kind of time/money would it take to write a library to handle this to get it into #Owncast and #Peertube ?
Right now the single most expensive thing is transcoding. If we can support #Webrtc #Simulcast that moves to end users and the server can is just a pass through enabling anyone to run live streams through their Peertube or someone to run massively more Owncast streams at once.
So I'm being serious. What would this take?

I'm looking for a #peertube or similar instance on the #fediverse I can use to upload my technical videos.
I want to replace https://www.youtube.com/delawen
I don't upload many videos (although the plan is to upload more now), let's say not more than 5/10 per year. Those videos may have a spike in views and then decay quickly.
I don't mind paying a small annual fee for maintenance.
I see some peertube instances that are very well established, but are in italian or french, which makes me wonder...

De sidste par dage har jeg henvist folk på 
til peertube.dk i stedet for Youtube, det har egentlig været ubevidst, men det føles rart, at sende dem over på en #algoritmefri og reklamefri platform. Jeg har fået ca. halv så mange visninger sammenlignet med Youtube. Det fortæller mig at folk ikke er bange for nye platforme, især ikke når det er så nemt som #peertube - Det virke bare!

I finally found a System that could work as Monetization for #Peertube for me. No, it is not Ads, no Sponsorship. It is https://webmonetization.org/
The Website is quite badly made and the name as well, but it basically works as microtransaction over time. You fund a wallet (e.g. €5/month), browse as usual, and tiny payments automatically go to creators based on what you watch/read and split in how long you did it.
and as instance Admin I can get a Fair share (like 2-5%)
